Gujarat Confidential: Police welfare

The Ahmedabad city police has launched a quarterly newsletter this year featuring its “achievements”, including the cases cracked as well as updates about police welfare. A copy shared with mediapersons on Friday lists several new initiatives such as a grocery store, a vegetable shop that offer subsidised rates and a flour mill on the police residential premises, on the lines of the paramilitary forces.
