As suspense rose around who all would take oath in the new cabinet of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar on Friday – the discussion centred around “which camp” would get weightage. The outgoing ministry was seen as having more members from South Gujarat with at least five berths in the 16-member cabinet going to this region. An MLA from Saurashtra, whose family member has been a minister, and who was also in the list of hopefuls, said, “who knows, it is the party that will decide. We have not been told anything”.
