GSHSEB exams begin, one case of copying reported

On the first day of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) Class 10 and 12 examinations, one case of copying was reported from Vadodara during Class 10 exam.

In Class 10, of the 7,94,003 students registered, 7,74,343 appeared for first language exam. In Class 12 general stream, of the 961 registered students, 952 appeared and in Class 12 science stream, of 1,27,071 registered students, 1,25,286 appeared for Physics paper.

This year, due to mass promotions in 2021 amid Covid pandemic, a record number of students have registered for Class 10 and 12 board examinations conducted by the GSHSEB.
