FICCI will help make Gujarat a $ 1-trillion economy by 2047: CM
Patel said this while addressing the national executive committee meeting of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in Ahmedabad.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday said that the state government aims at making Gujarat a one trillion-dollar economy by 2047 when India will complete 100 years of Independence.
Patel said this while addressing the national executive committee meeting of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in Ahmedabad.
A statement issued by the government said, “FICCI has played an important role in portraying Gujarat as the growth engine of India. The chief minister also expressed confidence that FICCI will contribute in making Gujarat a USD 1 trillion economy when India completes 100 years of Independence.”
It added that Patel referred to the recent celebration of 20 years of Vibrant Gujarat summit in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and acknowledged FICCI’s participation in every Vibrant Summit since 2003.
Citing the recently announced renewable energy policy of the state, Patel said that it is likely to attract investment of Rs 5 lakh crore.
