Ahead of Vibrant Gujarat Summit next year, the state education department will organise 'Western Zone Vice-Chancellor's Conference on Implementation of NEP-2020' at Statue of Unity in Kevadiya on October 26. This was decided at a state Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar Wednesday. Health and Family Welfare Minister Rushikesh Patel said that as part of “pre-celebration” ahead of Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2024, the CM will inaugurate this one-day conference along with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Around 480 delegates, including V-Cs, NEP nodal officers and experts from western zone universities in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa as well as from Union Territory of Diu, Daman and Dadranagar Haveli, will participate in the conference.
