CEPT University Ahmedabad announced the opening of its CEPT Foundation Programme (CFP) Field Studio Exhibition on Tuesday, showcasing projects developed by first-year undergraduate students based on their recent immersive field visit to Kerala.
This year, as part of their field studio, the students of the CFP travelled to various locations across the southern state, including Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, Vypin, Thripunithura and Alappuzha (Alleppey). They observed and documented their experiences and the exhibition is a translation of their travels and explorations, presented as a series of narratives through an interactive display.
These include a wide range of creative projects capturing the essence of life in these five locations including architecture, food, communities and sustainable practices.
The exhibition features close to 200 exhibits. “The exhibition is designed for everyone, including students who are looking to explore the intersection of art, culture, and design,” CEPT authorities stated.
The exhibition is open to all on the CEPT University campus until April 14 from 10 am to 8 pm.
