The Ahmedabad District Police arrested a couple from Gota Road in the city on Friday in connection with a cement theft case. The accused have been identified as Raju alias Musidkhan Pathan,a resident of Ahmedabad,and his wife Neha Pathan. The police said they had stolen a few trucks loaded with cement from Pipavav Port in Bhavnagar. The police seized Rs 5,100 in cash,one mobile phone and one knife from the couple. They added that when the couple was further interrogated,Pathan disclosed that his actual name is Rubiyo Kalam Pathan and he is a Bangladeshi national. ENS
