Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be in Gujarat on a two-day visit starting Monday.
On Monday, Shah will take part in six public programmes. The programmes to be attended by Shah include an event of the cooperative sector in Rajkot where he will also unveil statues of Vallabhbhai Patel and Vitthal Radadiya.
As per the schedule released by Gujarat BJP, he will first go to Surat to attend two programmes of ISKCON temple – a groundbreaking ceremony and a felicitation function of donors.
From Surat, Shah will be going to Rajkot District Cooperative Bank and unveil the statues of its former chairpersons, Vallabhbhai Patel and Vitthal Radadiya. Subsequently, he will attend a convention of cooperative institutions of Rajkot at the city’s Race Course Ground. Late in the evening, the Union minister will visit Ahmedabad and attend three Garba events in Jodhpur and Sarkhej wards of the city.
On Tuesday, Shah will participate in 11 events in Gandhinagar that include tree plantation, inauguration of a start-up conclave, a review meeting of gutter and water issues of Gandhiangar Lok Sabha constituency, inauguration of various projects, visit to the temple of Goddess Bahuchar in Mansa and visit to two Garba venues in the state capital.
