Actor Tiku Talsania, two others booked for reckless driving in Ahmedabad

Septuagenarian actor Tiku Talsania and two others were booked by the Ahmedabad Traffic Police on Thursday for alleged reckless driving after videos of them performing bike stunts on the roads of the city on Wednesday night went viral on social media.

Tiku Champaklal Talsania (70), Premkumar Ravidan Gadhvi (43) and Jesal Madhu Jadeja (34) were booked under BNS Sections 281 (rash driving) as well as Sections 177 and 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, in an FIR filed at Traffic ‘A’ Division police station on the basis of a complaint filed a police personnel on behalf of the State.

A statement from the Traffic Police on Thursday said that the three men had ridden their bikes recklessly and performed stunts, putting the lives of others at risk. All three were detained by the police.

Tiku Talsania has worked in Gujarat theatre as well as Hindi television and has done films in both languages over the years.

The bike stunts were performed as part of promoting their upcoming film.

A Gujarati actress was also with them, but she was not named in the police report as she was riding pillion in one of the bikes.
