’93 Surat blast: Local police team to visit London for Tiger Hanif’s custody

Hadia said the London Police had informed the Centre that Hanif could be handed over before 25 March. “We are corresponding with them through the DGP’s office and the state Home Department. We are also in touch with the CBI and the External Affairs Ministry in New Delhi,” he said. He said Hanif is wanted only for the Surat blast. “No other case is registered against him anywhere. The procedures for visa are on the verge of completion and we hope to fly to London soon.” According to police sources,four other people are also wanted in the case and efforts are on to locate them.
