The Gujarat government on Tuesday issued an order handing over additional charges to 14 IAS officials, including BA Shah, district collector of Jamnagar, who has been given the additional charge as municipal commissioner of Jamnagar Municipal Corporation. Similarly, Yogesh Chaudhary, Managing Director of Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company at Surat, will hold the additional post of Chief Executive Officer, Surat Urban Development Authority. Arun Mahesh Babu, Managing Director of Uttar Gujarat Vij Company will hold charge of post of MD, Gujarat Power Corporation Ltd. D P Desai, chief executive officer of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA), has been given the charge of CEO of Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority (GUDA). Videh Khare, Mission Director of Gujarat State Electronics Mission at Gandhinagar, will hold the additional charge as Mission Director, Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission. B R Dave, secretary, Gujarat State Human Rights Commission at Gandhinagar, will hold the additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation Ltd. P J Bhagdev, Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Bhavnagar, will hold the additional charge as MD of Alcock Ashdown (Gujarat) Ltd which is an inactive government public sector entity. Mayur Mehta, member secretary, Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board, will hold additional responsibilities of CEO of Water and Sanitation Management Organisation (WASMO).
