Mitesh Rameshbhai Patel, also known as Bakabhai, is a prominent figure in Indian politics and is known for his dedication and service to the people. He was born and raised in Sarsa, Anand, Gujarat. He holds a Diploma in Telecom Engineering (Electronics and T.C.) from the Board of Technical Examination, Karnataka.

His political journey began with his election to the 17th Lok Sabha from the Anand Constituency, Gujarat. He was elected in the 2019 Indian general election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He recorded a victory of 1,97,718 votes, which is known to be the highest ever in the history of the Anand Constituency.

He is a member of the Ministry of Food, Consumer Affairs, and Public Distribution's Committee and the Ministry of Coal and Mines' Consultative Committee.

Within two years of winning the Lok Sabha election, he is said to have built Water Harvesting Plants in several Government schools. His welfare work during the COVID-19 pandemic was tremendous, and he was awarded a Certificate of Commitment by the World Book of Records, London.
