Guman Singh Damor biography

Guman Singh Damor is a political leader from Madhya Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam constituency. He was born on April 4, 1957, in Umarkot, Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, to his parents, Nahar Singh Damor and Sonabai Damor. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering.

He started his political career as a Member of the Madhya Pradesh State Assembly from the Jhabua seat before taking the step towards national politics by contesting and winning the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from the Ratlam Lok Sabha seat as a representative of Bhartiya Janata Party.

He has been embroiled in controversies, including a financial scandal amounting to 600 crores and making controversial statements praising Mohammed Ali Jinnah while criticising Jawaharlal Nehru. A rare video surfaced showing Guman Singh Damor being chased by reporters, adding a dramatic element to his controversial profile.

The footage captured a tense moment involving the MP and journalists, shedding light on the intense scrutiny and media attention surrounding his actions and decisions.
