A statement from the government said that while eight buses would run between Ahmedabad and Surat, another eight would ply on the route between Ahmedabad and Vadodara, while four buses have been deployed between Ahmedabad and Rajkot.

The travel fare per person from Surat to Amreli is Rs 400, to Savarkundla is Rs 425, Bhavnagar Rs 350, Mahuva Rs 405, Rajkot Rs 385, Junagadh Rs 435, Jamnagar Rs 445, Ahmedabad Rs 280, Dahod Rs 305 and Chhota Udepur Rs 275.
'GSRTC to retire all overage buses by May 2024' : MD

The Gujarat government has paid Rs 112 crore to GSRTC in fees for the buses hired between 2020-21 and 2022-23, while Rs 41.01 crore is pending.

GSRTC hikes fares by 25% in first surge in around 10 years

The state-run entity has hiked the fares of local and express buses by 25 per cent, while the fares of non-air-conditioned sleeper buses have been hiked by 24 per cent. This is the first price surge by the GSRTC in around 10 years. The last hike was in 2014.
