Etihad Rail unveils train designs ahead of 2026 launch, will connect 11 cities across UAE

It will connect 11 cities across the UAE, from Al Sila in the west to Fujairah in the east — passing through Ruwais, Al Mirfa, Sharjah, Al Dhaid, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai.

The work involved launching a 45-metre-long bridge using the Span-by-Span (SBS) method, officials said, adding that the total weight of the span was 1200 metric tonnes.
