USA: George W. Bush hits Jeb's campaign trail ahead of SC primary

The 43rd US President George W. Bush endorsed the candidacy of his brother, Republican Jeb Bush, as the next president of the United States, while speaking from North Charleston, South Carolina, on Monday. The former president was accompanied by his wife, Laura, and Lindsey Graham who dropped out of the presidential race in December. The 69-year-old George W Bush gave his recollection of the 9/11 events saying that: "When Americans woke up on September the eleventh we didn't know that the world had forever changed that day." The former US President endorsed his brother as presidential candidate adding that "we do not need someone in the oval office who mirrors and inflames our anger and frustration. We need someone who can fix the problems." Former Florida Governor, Jeb Bush, in turn said that he was "honoured" that his older brother could be present at the rally. While referring to the 'international terrorism,' Bush stated that "we have to destroy ISIS" by creating a strategy which engages all allies. The US Presidential hopeful has high expectations from South Carolina, where his elder brother won the primary contests both in 2000 and 2004. The 2016 South Carolina primary takes place on February 20 for Republican candidates a week earlier than their Democratic rivals.
