Mohan Bhagwat Speaks On US Tariffs, Calls For Respecting Faiths, Rejecting Hooliganism

During the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh’s centenary celebrations, Sarsanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat addressed the importance of self-reliance, social harmony, and maintaining diplomatic ties. He criticized the US tariff policy as being self-serving while emphasizing that global interdependence should not become compulsion. Bhagwat also spoke about India’s diversity, noting that accepting foreign ideas has historically been part of Indian society. He urged citizens to respect all faiths and beliefs, avoid taking law into their own hands, and reject violence or public shows of strength that target specific communities. According to him, incidents of unrest are often part of pre-planned conspiracies, and maintaining law, order, and harmony is essential for a peaceful society.
