The 72nd edition of Tony Awards that recognise and celebrate the talent and excellence in live Broadway theatres, unfolded last Sunday evening. It was attended by many A-listers, who set the glamour quotient high for the evening. While some pulled off dressier looks, others went with a quirky and casual combination. From Kerry Washington's dramatic jumpsuit to Tiffany Haddish's catsuit, here are some other celebrities that caught our attention on the red carpet with their attractive fashion statements. Kerry Washington set the temperature soaring on the red carpet in an ivory embellished Versace jumpsuit. The cutout piece with a waist-length plunging neckline was a dramatic take on the androgynous style, especially the skirt detailing at the back. Wearing a casual shirt with a quirky message, teamed with a fancy skirt is a sure shot way to catch attention amidst all the glamour. And that is what Rachel Bloom did. The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star wore a white tee with a rendering of noted Broadway composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim "smoking a j". So what does a nominee of costume design nominee of SpongeBob Squarepants: The Musical, wear to the red carpet? An eyeball-grabbing quirk tee with a deep message, it seems. David Zinn, who was a nominee for two Tony awards stepped out o the red carpet in a black tee with ''Love is at the root of our resistance'' printed across the front.
