Telangana voted to on May 13 to elect 17 members of Parliament from the state. In the last Lok Sabha elections in 2019, BJP had won 4 seats, INC 3, TRS 9, and AIMIM 1. The result for this election will be announced on June 4, 2024.

In Telangana, Congress, headed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is in power with the parties like the TRS and BJP in opposition. The BJP has an alliance with Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and the Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party (JSP).

ABP-C Voter

The ABP-C voter exit poll has projected a neck-and-neck battle between the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the I.N.D.I.A. alliance in Telangana. Both are estimated to secure between 7 to 9 seats in the state, with the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) expected to secure 1 seat.

Republic PMARQ

According to PMARQ exit poll results, the BJP+ is projected to secure six seats, the INC+ will likely secure eight seats, while the BRS and the AIMIM are projected to secure two and one seat, respectively.

It predicts 12-14 Seats for the BJP, 5-7 seats for Congress and zero seat for the BRS.

It predicts that the NDA will win 7-10 seats while the INDIA alliance will win 5-8 seats, while others are likely to win 3-5 seats. Out of 17 seats in Telangana, the NDA is likely to get 37% vote share while the INDIA alliance is expected to get 34% seat share and 29% by others.
