Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa on Monday took to X and shared that coconut sales skyrocketed on Holi eve. He also shared that the popular online grocery delivery company hit its highest- ever sale.
Sharing the graph on X, Dhindsa wrote, “We just hit highest ever OPM (Orders per minute) on Blinkit! And we’re on track to break our all-time high orders record (Valentine’s day this year) today too! Happy Holi indeed.”

In another post, Dhindsa shared the comparison graph of coconut sale on a normal Sunday versus Holi day. “Coconut oil sales – today VS a normal Sunday (last Sunday for comparison).”
The post accumulated more than 2,90,000 views on the platform, triggering several reactions. “What are they doing with coconut oil?” a user wrote. “Rang se bachne k liye tel order Kiya Jaa rha (They are ordering oil to protect themselves from Holi colours),” another user commented.
“My question is to to how do you protect blinkit going forward because in future everyone wanted to take the pie of quick commerce,” the third user argued.
Dhindsa also thanked his customers for choosing Blinkit for their “Holi needs” and sharing a string of photos of the company’s delivery agents celebrating Holi.
