Motorola, on Thursday, introduced two new pairs of truly wireless earbuds in India. The Buds+, with audio tuning by Bose, and the more affordable Buds with Dolby Atmos support. Both variants will be on sale via Flipkart and the company’s official website starting May 15.

The Motorola Buds cost Rs 4,999, while the Buds+ are priced at Rs 9,999. The Buds come in three colours while the Buds+ are available in two shades. For a limited time, the Buds and the Buds+ will be available for Rs 3,999, and Rs 9,999, respectively for select bank card users.

Moto claims the Buds+ offer an enhanced audio experience with features like Dolby head tracking, a feature seen on high-end earbuds. It is also compatible with high-resolution audio along with support for active noise cancellation (ANC) with up to 46dB and EQ tuning. On a single charge, the Buds+ can deliver up to eight hours of music playback, and the charging case can top it up with an additional 38 hours.

The Buds can last up to nine hours, and the carry case, which supports both wired and wireless charging, adds another 42 hours of battery life. The Buds are said to have a water-repellent design, but does not have any official IP rating.

The Moto Buds also offer features like high-resolution audio, Dolby Atmos, backed by a 12.4mm dynamic driver. However, it misses out on head tracking and wireless charging. It supports advanced noise cancellation and offers an anti-wind noise algorithm.

The Moto Buds+ and the Buds are compatible with both Android and iOS devices. However, features like high-resolution audio are limited to select Android smartphones, and the Moto Buds app is also available only on the Play Store. They also support Google Fast Pair for easy pairing.
