Roger Federer takes on long-time rival Rafa Nadal in the final in what is a clock rewind moment at Rod Laver Arena. Both share impeccable relationship despite being one of the most fancied rivalries in men’s tennis.
After winning the toss, Rafa chose to serve first and the set continued on serve until 3-3 before Federer turned up the heat by breaking the Spaniard’s serve. The Swiss player would then go on to maintain that advantage and win the opening set 6-4. The two players would then exchange breaks and trade blows for the subsequent four sets.

In the fifth set, Nadal would break Federer in the first game but would then be broken back-to-back in the sixth and eighth game to see his advantage trickle away as Federer would win his 18th Grand Slam title.
