KL Rahul tries to finish it with style but gets caught in the deep. IND need 4 runs from 3 balls

Short of the length delivery and KL Rahul pulls it for a boundary. 10 runs off 2 balls already. IND need 4 from 4 balls

KL Rahul creams that one into the crowd for a maximum. Tim Southee pays the price for bowling the length delivery. IND need 8 from 5 balls

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul walk out to bat in the Super Over. Will Tim Southee be able to defend 14 or we will see another Super Over? Target - 14

Tim Seifert hits it on the up and finds the gap. A boundary for Seifert, Bumrah struggling to find the tough length. 6 runs from 2 balls scored

Two runs off the first ball as Shreyas Iyer puts down a tough chance.

New Zealand won their last super over against Australia in 2010. Can they do it again or New Zealand succumb under pressure? This seems too hard for Kane Williamson to watch from the dugout.

Navdeep Saini emulates Mohammed Shami to an extent, bowling yorkers and back of the length deliveries to Tim Seifert. Just three runs from the over. Seifert faced four dots. Is he getting nervous? NZ - 159/3 after 19 overs

Tim Seifert gets to his second T20I half-century with a boundary off Jasprit Bumrah. Seifert took 32 deliveries to get to the 50-run mark. Meanwhile, Bumrah is getting frustrated in the death overs. NZ - 155/3 after 18 overs

The fourth-wicket partnership is now 51 runs from 29 balls. 8 runs from Shardul Thakur's over. India need wickets at this stage. Will Jasprit Bumrah deliver? NZ - 148/3 after 17 overs

The partnership between Tim Seifert and Ross Taylor has put New Zealand in control of the run chase. Until and unless a Mohammed Shami-like over from the previous match is produced, this is New Zealand's game now. NZ - 140/3 after 16 overs

Tim Seifert is riding on his luck today. Seifert gets dropped twice in Yuzvendra Chahal's over. First on the boundary by Navdeep Saini resulting in a six and then by Jasprit Bumrah at short third man. 17 runs from the over. NZ - 130/3 after 15 overs

Tim Seifert is trying to make up for the mistakes in the final over in Hamilton T20I. Seifert hits the last ball of Shivam Dube's over between the two fielders in the deep and for a maximum. NZ - 113/3 after 14 overs

Yuzvendra Chahal comes back in the attack and takes the wicket of Kane Williamson's replacement - Tom Bruce. The Kiwi batsmen wanted to guide it towards the fine leg but misses the ball as it goes straight through the gate. Bruce out for a duck and all of a sudden India are back in the game. NZ - 97/2 after 12.1 overs

That was absolutely outstanding. Shardul Thakur throws from the deep and Virat Kohli just deflects it to the stumps. A wicket out of nowhere and Colin Munro is livid with himself as he departs for 64. NZ - 96/2 after 11.4 overs

Boundaries are coming from both ends as Colin Munro and Tim Seifert are looking settled at the crease. Navdeep Saini comes back into the attack, gives 13 runs. NZ - 92/1 after 11 overs

Colin Munro almost gets run out trying to sneak a quick single inside the 30-yard circle. Shardul Thakur misses the stumps by a whisker. Munro is clearly struggling in the middle and it is showing. Jasprit Bumrah gives three runs from his first over. NZ - 12/0 after 3 overs

Navdeep Saini's first over in New Zealand gets interrupted twice by intruders. Nevertheless, a good start from Saini as Colin Munro manages to score just one boundary and one single from the over. NZ - 9/0 after 2 overs

Shardul Thakur opens the bowling for India. This time around, no boundary from the over, just four runs. Good start for India defending a target of 166. NZ - 4/0 after 1 over

Manish Pandey completes his half-century from 36 deliveries. 11 runs from the last over bowled by Scott Kuggeleijn. Pandey remains unbeaten on 50. Navdeep Saini contributes with a 9-ball 11. Pandey also becomes the second Indian batsman to score a half-century batting at No.6 or below after MS Dhoni. IND - 165/8 after 20 overs

Navdeep Saini manages to hit two boundaries and get a couple of runs off the last delivery. Saini scores 10 runs from the penultimate over bowled by Hamish Bennett, something you would expect Manish Pandey to do at this stage. IND - 154/8 after 19 overs

Just when Shardul Thakur was starting to hit the ball really well, he departs. After hitting a boundary, Thakur goes for another big shot but commits to early to the shot. He departs after scoring 20 runs from 15 balls. IND - 131/7 after 16.3 overs

Manish Pandey takes on Tim Southee. Pandey makes room for himself and guides the ball wide of square fielder for a boundary. He tries to hit the big shot but barely manages to clear the 30-yard circle. Shardul Thakur attacks as well and gets three runs off the final delivery of the over. IND - 124/6 after 16 overs

Running hard between the wickets, not taking the aerial route. Manish Pandey proving to the team management that he needed to be there ahead of Shivam Dube to rebuild the innings of KL Rahul. 8 runs from Hamish Bennett's over. IND - 112/6 after 15 overs

India need of a partnership here and Manish Pandey, Shardul Thakur have executed the job so far. Thakur is hitting the ball hard whereas Pandey is being cautious, knocking the ball around for singles and doubles. IND - 104/6 after 14 overs

Shardul Thakur is batting sensibly here alongside Manish Pandey. Thakur finds the gap as he plays the square cut with ease. 9 runs from Ish Sodhi's final over. He gave 26 runs and took three wickets in his spell. IND - 97/6 after 13 overs

Shivam Dube get out trying to hit a big shot off Ish Sodhi. Almost another collision in the deep but Tom Bruce manages to take a clean catch. Dube falls for 12. India are in deep trouble having lost half the side in the 11th over. A test awaits Washington Sundar who replaced Ravindra Jadeja in the side. IND - 87/5 after 11 overs

Manish Pandey plays the ball straight down the ground. Long on and long off fielders converge to stop the extra run but end up colliding with each other. The collision between Guptill and Kuggeleijn costs New Zealand an extra run. IND - 83/4 after 10 overs

KL Rahul tries to attack Ish Sodhi by going on the back foot and hitting the ball towards mid-wicket but fails to clear the fielder on the boundary. Mitchell Santner takes another catch. Rahul falls for 39. India in trouble having lost four wickets in the 9th over. IND - 75/4 after 8.4 overs

Scott Kuggeleijn releases the pressure on Indian batsmen. KL Rahul and Shivam Dube hit boundaries. First boundary for India after over 20 balls. 14 runs from Kuggeleijn's third over. IND - 69/3 after 8 overs 

Shivam Dube comes out to bat ahead of Manish Pandey. Maybe the team management trusted Dube to attack left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner and leg-spinner Ish Sodhi. IND - 55/3 after 7 overs

Shreyas Iyer tries to play the cut shot off leg-spinner Ish Sodhi but all he could manage was a thick edge. An easy catch for wicketkeeper Tim Seifert. India in trouble now. Opportunity for Shivam Dube to show his mettle. IND - 52/3 after 6.3 overs

Kuggeleijn back in the attack. Good comeback from the fast bowler. Just a single from his second over. Shreyas Iyer shuffles too much in the crease but fails to get in the position to play the shot. IND - 51/2 after 6 overs

Tim Southee introduces himself back into the attack after two expensive overs from Scott Kuggleijn and Mitchell Santner.
