India beat Australia by five wickets to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series. Chasing 294, India rode on a fluent opening stand between Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane and then sealed the deal with Hardik Pandya’s quick-fire 78. The team was in a little spot after losing Virat Kohli and Kedar Jadhav in quick succession but Pandya operated with a mature head to get the side close to a convincing win. Earlier, after electing to bat, Australia rode on Aaron Finch’s brilliant 124 but lost their way as India fought back in the final overs to now allow the visitors go past the 300-run mark. This was another complete performance by India on a very batting-friendly pitch and gives them another ODI series win under Virat Kohli. Action now shifts to Bangalore where Australia would eye pride while India would look to extend their domination. (FULL SCORECARD)
