SC junks plea for Rosaiah removal

The court said the case was registered after Rosaiah was appointed in August 2011.

The SC Monday dismissed a petition for removal of K Rosaiah as the governor of Tamil Nadu on the ground that he faces a criminal case in Andhra Pradesh.

The court said the case was registered after Rosaiah was appointed in August 2011.

The plea was filed by Mohan Lal,who has also filed the case in Andhra. Lal has alleged that when he was chief minister,Rosaiah allotted prime land to private parties and,thereby,caused a loss of Rs 200 crore to Andhra.
