Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said the state government would soon appoint an Ombudsman to curb corruption at the local level. A transparent vigilance committee having participation of civil society members will keep an watch on local bodies’ representatives and officials,” said the CM before leaving for Delhi.
The government,Kumar said,had initiated the process of appointing the Ombudsman which would help deal with corruption at the local level.
