PUNE, Aug 26: Nabard Bank blanked out Bank of India 3-0, while Rupee Bank posted a 2-1 victory over hosts Reserve Bank of India in their league matches of Inter-Bank Carrom tournament, being played at the RBI Club, here today.
Prakash Bokde and Prakash Phadke of NABARD recored straight wins in their respective matches defeating Jaiprakash Dalvi (22-20, 22-12) and Sanjay Deshmukh (25-4, 25-0), respectively. While Rajendra Choudhary faced a little challenge in the second game before ousting Shantaram Ingle 25-0, 16-25, 23-7.
The team championship final will be held on August 28.
