DUBAI, JANUARY 23: India and Pakistan, traditional crowdpullers in Dubai, have confirmed participation in the Rashid international volleball tournament to be held here from March 12 to 19. The UAE Volleyball Association (UAEVA) got verbal confirmation from both Indian and Pakistani, well after the deadline.
‘‘We received calls from Chennai and Pakistan regarding their participation and were told that a confirmation would follow in a day or two. This comes as a great boost for us and the tournament as a whole’’ said Jasim Ali Rajab of UAEVA, the man behind the tourney.
