Adding that since a tortoise usually lives up to 125-150 years, it denotes “longevity of life,” she told indianexpress.com.
Lavinaa Shrishrimal, a numerologist, also recently took to Instagram to share the placement of such types of figurines in the house, as per vastu.
“Keeping a tortoise in the right direction brings stability, good health, longevity, prosperity and happiness,” Shrishrimal wrote, while listing the type of material and how it impacts different aspects of one’s life.
Metal/Silver: North/North West; business growth and increases flow of money
Brass: South West; improves relationship and love
Wood: North East; brings good physical and mental health, luck
Quarts/Clear glass: East or South East; reduces negative energies
Chhabra too shared the following tips:
*Kept in the west direction of the house while facing north, a tortoise figurine helps “manifesting wishes”. When kept in the office, it helps in manifesting higher revenue and sales.
*Those who suffer with stability of wealth should place a brass tortoise in the south west direction, facing north, to resolve money stability issues. Brass tortoise in various numbers and different sizes, when kept in south west zone of the house, help bringing together families along with love and harmony. Also, a brass tortoise when kept at the study table facing west helps students to focus on their studies well.
*A north-facing tortoise figurine kept in center of the house helps improve patience, and perseverance.
*”Those looking for opportunities should place a silver tortoise figurine dipped in water in a silver bowl in the north direction. It helps generate more opportunities and cash flow,” said Chhabra.
