Instead, we would reckon, you take it slow in the kitchen and treat them to this delectable Avocado Tartare recipe at home by Chef Yutaka Saito of Simply Sushi, Delhi. Relatively easy to make, this recipe is perfect for those small family gatherings which you can down with a glass of warm sake or any other drink if you prefer it that way. Ingredients
For Avocado Tartare
80g – Avocado
10g – Tomato
5g – Onion
30g – Sushi Rice
5g – Spicy Mayonnaise
5g – Wasabi Mayonnaise
5g – Bubu arare
1g – Micro green mustard
For Sushi Rice
200g – Sushi Rice
50ml – Sushi Vinegar
For Spicy Mayonnaise
3.7g – Mayonnaise
550g – Lemon Juice
500g – Sugar
150g – Salt
250g – Chilli Paste
60ml – Sake
15g – Shredded Dry Chilli
Method
* Make cake of rice and deep fry it.
* Mix avocado, chopped onions, spicy mayonnaise, wasabi mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
* Make another mixture of tomato with salt and pepper.
* Put the mixture of avocado on rice cake and nicely flatten it. Then make another layer of tomato on it.
* Garnish it with bubu arare and micro green mustard.
