At this moment, we are pretty sure your social media feed must be filled with pictures of women in a traditional red saree, posing with a flower tucked into their soft, wavy hair cascading down their backs. The woman in the image has sharp almond kohl-lined eyes, a hint of a smile, and she is bathed in a soft wash of light. You can tell it’s an AI-generated image, but it’s so close to reality that it takes a second for you to digest.

The images show her clad in a simple red saree, a white floral salwar kameez set holding a puppy, sitting on a bench reading in a blue polka dotted saree, and a red silk saree with jewellery to amp up her retro look.
