
The Punjab State Council of Education Research and Training (PSCERT) on Sunday announced that it will conduct the paper-2 of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2023 will be held again on April 30. Candidates appearing for the examination can check the notification at the official website— pstet2023.org. The exam will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1 pm.
Paper 2 of PSTET 2023 was earlier held on March 12, but it was cancelled after candidates alleged that correct answers for many multiple choice questions in one paper (Social Studies) were highlighted in bold font.
The state government also ordered a high-level probe into the matter and suspended two professors of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU). The two professors were— Dr Hardeep Singh from the department of computer science and Dr Ravinder Singh Sawhney, department of electronics technology.
Paper 2 will be 150 marks and consist of MCQs from Child Development and Pedagogy for 30 marks, Language 1 and 2 for 30 marks each and the subject of the candidate appearing for 60 marks. The paper 1 answer key was released on April 30.
