The superintendent of a hostel of Don Bosco School in Murshidabad district,who was accused of sexually assaulting a Class V student,has been arrested.
Police said that Father James Soren was arrested from the school yesterday on the charge of sexually assaulting the 10-year-old boy in his room on last Wednesday.
The boy had called his father,a resident of Bakhanda village in Raghunathganj,a day after the incident to inform him of the assault,according to a complaint lodged by the father at the local police station and school authorities.
Soren was produced in a court at Jangipur in Murshidabad district which has remanded him to 14 days’ judicial custody.
