The Health Ministry Friday started constituting a technical group to monitor the spread of Zika virus. This comes a day after WHO warned the virus was spreading “explosively”. The WHO will convene an international health regulations emergency committee on Zika Monday.

On Friday, Health Minister J P Nadda held a meeting with microbiologists and epidemiologists from National Centre for Disease Control, ICMR, and AIIMS.
