A day after BJP chief Amit Shah courted controversy by saying if his party loses elections in Bihar, firecrackers will be burst in Pakistan, party’s senior leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy found himself in a spot after tweeting a screenshot of the Dawn website carrying Nitish Kumar’s ad appealing voters to vote for him.
However, Rudy soon drew flak for his ignorance about google ads, which serves ads on any site based on the reader’s locations and browsing habits. Twitterati were quick to respond as they slammed Rudy, questioning his knowledge of the cyber world, forcing the leader to delete his tweet. Many asked what purpose will be served for Nitish Kumar by giving ad in Pakistani news website.
Rudy’s remark came hours after RJD chief Lalu Yadav said he will approach the Election Commission against Amit Shah‘s Pakistan remark as he has insulted the people of Bihar and tried to communalise the election.
