Karnataka PGCET 2025 Counselling: KEA announces round 1 seat allotment schedule

The option entry portal opened on September 24, 2025 (11 am) and will remain active till September 28, 2025 (11.59 pm) for eligible candidates to prioritise their choices.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the schedule for the first round of seat allotment for the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2025 admissions to MBA, MCA, ME and MTech courses.

The option entry portal opened on September 24, 2025 (11 am) and will remain active till September 28, 2025 (11.59 pm) for eligible candidates to prioritise their choices. Candidates can exercise their options at keaonline.karnataka.gov.in.

H.Prasanna IAS Executive Director KEA in a social media post said: “The seat allocation process for the second round has started from today. The link has been released today to register your wishes/choices, and you will have the opportunity to do so until September 28. Mock results will be announced on September 29. You will have the opportunity to reorder your wishes/choices until October 3.”

“Provisional results will be announced on October 3 at 5 pm. The final results will be announced on October 4. Those who have been allotted seats will discuss with their parents and have the opportunity to register their choices until October 7. Those who have registered Choice-1, Choice-2 must pay the fee. Those who have registered Choice-1 must report to the colleges by October 9,” the Director added.

As per the official notification, the mock allotment results will be declared on September 29, after 2 pm, following which candidates can modify their options until September 30 (up to 11:30 am).

The provisional first round allotment result will be published on October 3, after 5 pm, and the final result will be out on October 4, after 4 pm.

Candidates allotted seats will be required to exercise their choices between October 4 and October 7. Payment of fees and downloading of the confirmation slip for Choice 1 and Choice 2 candidates will be available from October 6 to October 8 (up to 11:59 pm).

Those who accept their allotment under Choice 1 must report to the allotted colleges with original documents and the confirmation slip by October 9, before 5:30 pm.
