GATE 2025 Result & Scorecard Link at gate2025.iitr.ac.in: The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT-R) on March 19 declared the results for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Students can check the results from the official website—gate2025.iitr.ac.in— using login credentials like roll number, date of birth and Captcha code.
Students can check the results on March 19. They will have to visit the GOAPS portal website — gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Then log in using the required credentials, such as enrollment ID or email address and password. Followed by clicking on the ‘GATE 2025 result’ tab. The GATE result will appear on the screen. They will have to download and save the result for future reference.
The GATE 2025 scorecard will contain the marks obtained by the candidate in each section of the exam, the overall score, and the All India Rank (AIR). Applicants must note that the scorecard will be released only for those who will clear the cut-off score. The test was held for a total of 30 test papers between February 1 and 16.
The GATE cut-offs are influenced by several factors. These include the total number of candidates taking the exam, the availability of seats at participating institutions, trends from previous years, and the difficulty level of the exam. All of these elements play a crucial role in determining the cut-off scores.
These are the institutes that accept GATE scores: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee. Some foreign universities allow Indian students to replace GRE with GATE scores. Last year, Singapore and Germany allowed Indian students to use GATE scores.
GATE 2024 was conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The response sheets were released on February 15, and answer keys, question papers were released on February 19. Candidates were allowed to raise objections regarding the answer keys from February 22 to 25.
In 2024, GATE saw an increase of 23 per cent in enrollment, as compared to 2023, about 6.70 lakh candidates registered for GATE for 29 papers, in total. Out of these, 5.17 lakh candidates appeared for the exam in more than 500 centres across the country with an overall attendance of about 77 per cent. The AIR one in 2024 was Raja Majhi from West Bengal’s Bardhaman district.
