CBSE Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin its yearly psycho-social counselling for Classes 10, and 12 from February 1. The initiative is taken to support students during the examination period. This free-of-cost service is held twice — during the examinations and after the declaration of results — for students and parents.
Phase one of the CBSE counselling is for the 2025 academic session which will continue till April 4. This initiative aims to alleviate examination-related stress and support students as they prepare for their theory exams, scheduled to commence on February 15.
24×7 Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS)
This toll-free IVRS service is accessible to students at 1800-11-8004. Students round-the-clock will receive assistance in both Hindi and English. It will provide students tips for free exam preparation, stress and time management guidance along with relevant FAQS answers.
Tele-Counseling Services
A team of 66 trained professionals principals, counsellors, special educators from CBSE-affiliated schools, and psychologists will offer voluntary support to students, read the notification. The services are available between 9: 30 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Saturday.
51 counsellors are based in India, while 15 counsellors will connect from Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates to guide students.
Podcasts /Audio-Visual Content
Students can also access bilingual podcasts and various video resources which will address stress management, preparation strategies, and mental well-being. All these resources will be available on the CBSE official website–cbse.gov.in.
The Board in the notification also encourages students and their parents to take full advantage of these resources to ensure a stress-free and confident approach to the upcoming board examinations in 2025.
