Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying S P Singh Baghel got words of appreciation from his senior colleague in the Union Cabinet, Manohar Lal Khattar, for the former’s efforts in drawing support for the BJP in Haryana elections.
Baghel had held a series of meetings with members of his community in Palwal and Hodel segments and the BJP won both the seats. Khattar thanked Baghel for the effort when they met on Wednesday, it is learnt.
Mathura Meet
The RSS will hold its Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal ‘baithak’ in Mathura on October 25-26. Coming days after the Vijayadashmi speech of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, the annual meet of top Sangh leaders is expected to discuss the issues Bhagwat would raise in his speech, along with other issues of national interest.
The meeting will also discuss plans for celebrating the centenary year of Sangh’s foundation.
