Pune: Joint Commissioner of Police Sandip Karnik transferred to Nashik

Karnik will replace Ankush Shinde, who is currently the Commissioner of Nashik City police. Shinde has been transferred from Nashik to the state intelligence department (VIP Security), Mumbai, as special inspector general of police.

Sandeep Karnik, Joint Commissioner of Pune City police, has been transferred. Karnik has been appointed as the Commissioner of Nashik City police.

Karnik will replace Ankush Shinde, who is currently the Commissioner of Nashik City police. Shinde has been transferred from Nashik to the state intelligence department (VIP Security), Mumbai, as special inspector general of police.

An order regarding the transfers was released on Tuesday by the state Home department. Orders regarding the appointment of new Joint Commissioner of Pune City police, who will replace Karnik, are awaited.
