Army jawan rapes 15-yr-old in Kanpur

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an Army jawan and his accomplices at Jaamu village in Bidhun here,the police said.

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an Army jawan and his accomplices at Jaamu village in Bidhun here,the police said on Saturday. The girl alleged that she was raped by Brajendra and his associates on Friday evening when she had gone to the nearby fields to defecate,Superintendent of Police (Rural) Lal Bahadur said. The accused who fled after the incident also threatened her of dire consequences if she reported the matter to anyone,Bahadur said. Police is waiting for the girls medical report. Meanwhile,the girls relatives claimed the police was trying to hush up the matter. Efforts are on to nab the accused.
