A day after police recovered bodies of couple from a tempo parked on a road in Narela,the initial post-mortem report has put poisoning as the cause of their death.
It appears that the couple,found dead on Mansa Devi Road,had consumed poison,police said.
It was also found that the two,who were related had eloped and had tried to commit suicide earlier as well,police said. They had reportedly tried to strangulate themselves. An inquiry is being conducted,police said.
Road rage: Advocate stabbed in Hauz Khas
A 40-year-old advocate was stabbed by two DU students in South Delhis Hauz Khas area when his car grazed their motorcycle Monday night. The two accused were in an inebriated state and were arrested from the spot. The victim has been identified as Keshav Kumar,an advocate with the lower court. He is admitted to AIIMS Trauma Centre and his condition is said to be stable. The accused Manish Tiwari (22) and Ashwani Kumar (23) got into a heated argument with Keshav. One of them took out a knife and stabbed him in the right side of his chest, a police officer said.
