A 25-year-old man died after his motorcycle reportedly hit a road divider near Yadav Hospital on the Sultanpuri-Sultanpuri Thana Road late Monday, police said.

Shivam, a resident of JJ Colony in Wazirpur and employed as a housekeeping staffer with an e-commerce company in Patel Nagar, was declared dead at the hospital.

Police said Shivam had been returning with his cousin Yash (24) and their friend Anshu (22) when Anshu stopped to buy water from a grocery shop near Yadav Hospital. In the meantime, Shivam started the bike. Police said the bike rammed into the divider, causing Shivam severe injuries.

He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
