After announcing his decision to contest the Assembly elections against Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit a few weeks ago,Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwals name was declared for the New Delhi constituency on Tuesday. Kejriwal is a resident of Ghaziabad and will need to be registered as a voter in Delhi before he can contest. Rules do not permit a person not registered as a voter in Delhi to fight elections here. Kejriwal may choose to opt for the address of his Parivartan office in Sundar Nagri for the purpose. All prominent leaders of the party feature in the list. Manish Sisodia and Shazia Ilmi will be fighting from Patparganj and R K Puram respectively. In the list,Gopal Rai has been declared the partys candidate from Babarpur.
