A 30-year-old man died when a splinter hit him in Raipurrani village late on Friday night. The deceased,Surinder Kumar,was a resident of Ghanauli village. The victim had gone to graze his animals near the village,when a shell splinter hit him during an Army exercise. The police said the victim had entered the prohibited area.
