AAP MLA Gurpreet Gogi inaugurates senior-citizens’ home in Ludhiana’s BRS Nagar

The Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Ludhiana (West) MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi Thursday inaugurated a senior-citizens’ home in Block-D of Bhai Randhir Singh (BRS) Nagar.

Spread across an area of 700 sq yards, the home has been established at a cost of Rs 49 lakh by the Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT), Gogi said.

A state-of-the-art facility for senior citizens, the home comprises of hall, kitchen, restroom, lush green lawns among other facilities.

Calling it a long-pending demand of the senior citizens in the area, the facility has now been dedicated to them, Gogi stated.

He also said that additionally, medical camps would be organised at the facility in the coming times, and efforts would be made to facilitate senior citizens in every manner.
