Man donates cervical cancer screening device to Rajkot hospital

Not many hospitals in Saurashtra-Kutch regions have colposcope available.

Quick screening and diagnosis of cervical cancer will now be possible at Saurashtra Cancer Care and Research Institute (SCRI) in Rajkot, as a retired banker from Ahmedabad on Friday donated colposcope, a key diagnostic equipment, to this semi-government hospital via Sanjeevani – Life Beyond Cancer, a non-profit organisation.

Anil Khatri donated the machine to SCRI in the memory of his mother Saraswatiben Khatri on Friday.
