Light rain is expected on Wednesday in the districts of Saurashtra, including Amreli, Dwarka, Porbandar, Rajkot and Kutch, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday. Ahmedabad, meanwhile, will remain partly cloudy, it added.

Acorss the state, Naliya on Tuesday recorded the lowest temperature at 11.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Kandla airport at 12.4 degrees Celsius.

While the maximum temperature remained above normal, the minimum temperature was less than normal. Vadodara at 14.6 degrees Celsius and Surat at 20.8 degrees Celsius, were 4 degrees below normal.

Similarly, the minimum temperature in Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar was 3 degrees Celsius below normal while it was 2 degrees Celsius below normal in Bhuj, Amreli, Naliya and Porbandar.

Deesa, meanwhile, recorded a minimum of 12.8 degrees Celsius, Gandhinagar 14, Surendranagar 14.8, Bhuj 14.6, Rajkot 15.4, Ahmedabad 15.5, Kandla Port 16.6 and Amreli 16 degrees Celsius.
