A metropolitan court here Thursday remanded five of the Ahmedabad serial blasts accused to the custody of Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) for five days in connection with the recent jailbreak attempt at Sabarmati Central Jail. The five were taken into custody by DCB Wednesday after the state government lifted section 268 of CrPC for them that restricted their movement outside jail. An FIR had been earlier registered after a tunnel was discovered in the jail and DCB has been investigating the case. Fourteen of the serial blasts accused have been named in the FIR as accused.
