Gujarat: Cop dies of suspected heat stroke

According to the Vadodara Police, Malusare was attached to the Varnama police station prior to the Lok Sabha polls and had been transferred to Chhani headquarters after he suffered a paralytic stroke earlier this year.

A 51-year-old assistant sub-inspector, attached to Chhani police headquarter, passed away due to suspected heat stroke after showing symptoms of vomiting and anxiety on Thursday.

The family members of the deceased, Dilip Malusare, said he had been unwell for the last three days. However, on Thursday, he complained of anxiety and was rushed to SSG Hospital, where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
